About festival

During the last 10 years Histria Festival has managed a position as a partner of more eminent international associations, societies and associations that operate in the culture.

During our work, we have gained great confidence and credibility of the world's largest cultural institutions and friends around the world that many co-operations confirm.
Histria Festival begins it’s wide range of co-operation with Goldsmith Productions in London and Harvey Goldsmith, one of the world's largest manager, who in 2004 signed a co-operation with us and thus they create the preconditions to be finally brought to Croatia famous maestro Luciano Pavarotti.
Pavarotti’s success in the Arena was huge, and was declared as the concert of the year 2004.

During all those years and all the great concerts of world musicians Histria Festival emphasize Croatian orchestras and soloists, who were our guests, not only in Croatia but also abroad.


A few years back, there was an unique concert of Andrea Bocelli in the amphitheatre - Arena, and the maestro Jose Carreras concert, also in the amphitheatre - Arena in 2006.

Great recognition of our work is a result of a contract with one of the world's most philharmonic, IPO (Israel philharmonic) with maestro Zubin Mehta, made for co-operation in this region, where we have successfully organized and held a concert in Arena, Pula in 2004.

We have organized and held in our great Arena pop-rock concerts such as Jamiroquai in 2005, a concert of pop diva Anastacia, and a year earlier our guest on Festival had been Eros Ramazzotti. During the years, at the festival our guests have been the hugest world’s music artist and music stars such as Maksim Mrvica, Imperial Russian Ballet, Paco De Lucia and many others.

In 2007, at the Festival guests were diva Norah Jones in the Arena and the Italian hit maker Zucchero, but our greatest achievement is the realization of humanitarian concert for the Ana Rukavina Foundation "Night to remember" 30th November 2007 in the House of Drazen Pertovic in Zagreb. Our guests were maestro Carreras, Michael Bolton and Tony Cetinski, a concert pronounced by almost all the world media as a concert of the year. The company is very proud of the duo of maestro Jose Carreras and Tony Cetinski who sung the song "Dolce souno" written by our composer Mr. Bashkim Shehu

Tha past year, 2008, was as successful as the previous, and the greatest achievement was the concert of the sweetheart of the most women throughout the entire region Zdravko Colic, a concert of Cuban admirable singer Omara Portuondo, a big celebration concert of Tony Cetinski, all in the magnificent ancient amphitheatre - Arena. As every year, the past year the ballet ensemble of the Imperial Russian Ballet visited our Festival, who are again fascinated the audience with their unbeatable performance of ballet classics.

In the present year we celebrate the tenth jubilee year of our work and the 10th Histria Festival will be our biggest achievement, and as always, for our loyal fans we offer a wide range of international and domestic stars, concerts of classical and pop music and ballet performances.
